Okay just trying to get all of my stuff planned out but I need some help. Sparknotes at bottom.

What helmets work best with Oakley Crowbars? I have a Maze and it doesnt fit too well.

Im getting the ON3P Jeffrey's for touring but I also want to build backcountry kickers so I dont know which bindings to get? I was thinking about the schizos so I can go from powder to the jumps, but are they worth it? And how is the quality on them? I dont know what I should get for the free heel thing either but I was looking at the alpine trekkers?

The POC Receptor Bug and the Giro G10 fit Crowbars. As for the bindings, I don't do any touring, so I am the wrong person to ask.

the only touring bindings that would be close to handling park landings would be barons or dukes, depending on how much you weigh

or if you want to be a real man get an MFD plate and use a real binding (I use 4frnt deadbolt 18s on my CRJs for touring).

or you can just buy snowshoes that fit your boots. up to you

if you do any sort of touring off piste, you need training + a lot of more gear

avy safety classes, probe, shovel, beacons, just to name a few.

Ok thanks but a couple questions. How are the schizos for park landings? Im planning on using the trekkers for the touring part so I can take them out.
For the MFDs Im not going to pay 300 bucks to be a real man that is fucking ridiculous in my opinion.
Are snowshoes a good choice? Wouldnt they be more work?
What is off piste? Like rock and ice climbing shit haha? Hell no

schizos are essentially jesters, which are some of the highest regarded freestyle bindings out there. they'll be just peachy for park. personally i don't trust marker bindings though, i've had 2 pairs of jesters bow out on me on big landings (they were the first and second year models, i've heard they have fixed some of the issues)

i was messing around about the "real man", i prefer the MFD plate because i'm a big guy and i've had issues with trekkers coming out and just in general being a pain in the ass. if you end up wanting to get serious about touring and BC, you'll find out just the same

snowshoes are a good option if you are starting out on smaller trips out in the back. they are affordable, they work well and they aren't that heavy. IMO
