saw it on the live stream. one fmxer got seriously injured. thats why the snowboard contest got delayed a lil. right now is the snowboard finals.

Congrats to all!!  I'm happy for Elias, yea he spins fast, but he really tweaks so hard, that's what I like about his style. Also, I didn't realize that Kai is only 16 years old! Finally, I noticed 3 of the 4 ride Atomic, almost an Atomic sweep!

andreas counting run was in fact a dub 10 mute... Elias went for the dub 16 on his final run. He tweaked it so hard that he lost a ski in the air!!

elias dub 14 was pretty nice but i didint really see the tweaked grab.. hes spinned way to fast and that make his dub ugly as fuck but props to him cause its still a dub 14

Maybe if we all start ignoring these shitty contests, guys like elias will have to switch to diving and guys like Adam delorme and cam riley can make a living skiing. Seriously....this is the hub of the freeski community...was anyone feeling that at all? Holy gross huck fest.

I back you 99.9% of the time, but cmon. Its a city big air. Its not even a real contest so to speak. The whole point is to watch someone huck their meat in front of 10000 people who probably dont even know you can go backwards on skis. City big airs have always been sketchy, its a 50 foot jump of ice on a sketchy scaffold, what do you expect?

We see some creative stuff at real slopestyle comps, but lets be honest, how creative and unsketchy can you be on that ghetto of a setup.

You act like I'm suggesting we improve these "contests" when what I'm actually saying is that they're worthless on every level. Sort of sounds like you agree, so now I'm confused. I'm saying that by giving a shit, watching them, talking about them, etc. we're telling the "powers that be" that we're fans.

I'm saying I'm not a fan. If you or anyone else is, cool, I just happen to think contests like this are fucking stupid.

Mabye you think there useless but theres tons of people at these events putting money into freesking and thats all that matters. Just beacause some people might be turning the sport into what you dumbasses think is ariels or a huckfest doesnt mean the guys like cam and delorm and sage won't be out there skiing for the love of skiing and making sick video parts, wed all look like a bunch of retards if everyone was doing the same thing so let the comp guys kill comps and the video guys kill movies and dont hate cause its all just skiing.

so basically you want to get rid of this contest so skiing can fit your cool underground image. Yo nice..... Its not like the sponsors, the athletes or the fans care.... I would fucking love to watch this contest. It promotes skiing, The athletes are stoked cus they get to ski and its fucking pimp to watch. Film athletes get their film parts like the stept crew that you d-ride so hard and the contest athletes get their contests so quit complaining about this contest cus you think its stupid. You sound retarded. Markus eders cork 3 as well as andreas' switch underflip were pure style.
