Does anyone have pictures or video of how they attach their skis to a snowmobile? I'm getting a sled this year and have searched but haven't been able to find anything.
Depends on what sled you have? A buddy of mine made the best solution ive seen, he cut the bottoms off some boots he bought for like 5 bucks at a ski swap off and created a little platform out of wood with the boot bottoms sticking up(at an angle so that his skis wouldnt get in the way)... if that makes sense. That way if he rolled his sled his skis wouldnt break... have also seen people rig stuff up with snowboard bindings. I usually just attached them on my backpack and it wasnt the best going through trees, but they werent in my way when im switching sides and shit.... Get creative and youll make something work im sure!
Im going to try to duplicate what my friend did with ski boot bottoms and 2x4s when i pick up my new sled in a week... ill post pics when i do, might be a couple weeks, pm me if i forget
Where do you live and how long is the roop in? Being that your on a 2012 I'm guessing price is no issue. If your riding in a long ways I would go for a cfr. Short rides (under 20 miles)? Just put them on your pack.
