Tonight was the National Ski Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Marquetee/ Ishpeming Michigan.
Sherry McConkey came to accept his Induction Plaque, During his memories video, they had footage of his FINAL JUMP! A double Front off the cliff and you see the 1 ski come off and NOT the other...Then it Cuts out... This is atleast another 10 sec past what they showed in the movie "IN DEEP"
She was very very nice, and not a bad looking female either...
Not gonna lie... I teared up a little during his segment!
Glen Plake was in full Mohawk Effect, and He too was Chocked up... His exact words, were.. "This is so heavy, it's gonna stick to my ribs for a while"
I would like to take this time to thank two of the PIONEERS of our sport... for one of whom we would not love NEON like we do... and the other invented a Saucerboy and ROcker skis, both of which we can't live without....
