How did you find out about NS?

How did everyone find out about NS? and what about NS made you want to become a member?

A buddy from my school Av-er-y is his username, told me about NS, and I decided to make an account to post in one of his threads, then I became a more active user after that.

a facebook friend write in is statut something like'' go vote for me'' so i create an account, and i was looking around the forum because i had nothing to do and i also bought my first pair of ski, some gear and start skiing, thanks NS !

I saw kids with newschooler stickers all over the mountains. Googled it. Read for about a year before i made an account. And then it just went from there

When I worked with the local ski team another coach told me about Thovex's massive quarterpipe vid. I came here, watched, joined, and then didn't post for almost 2 years.

THE ONLY OTHER FREESKIER KID AT MY LOCAL HILL HAD A NEWSCHOOLERS STICKER ON HIS HELMET. I EVENTUALLY DECIDED TO GOOGLE IT AND I WAS SO STOKED WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS WEBSITE. MY INTERNET PARADISE.

my now fiance, casey (username: casey) introduced me to NS. Soon after meeting we learned we were both skiers and him along with all of his friends are on NS.

I moved to colorado as a junior in highschool and i met kids that skiied when i was a senior and they were like yeah join its sick i joined but never posted then i went to my friend brendans house... i think he is mr feeney on NS. and he was looking at hilarious pictures and it was the laugh you lose thread and i was like ok this place is more than just skiing, i snowboard, and honestly i love it the people, the humor, it just is great in every way. and it also made me try skiing because i grew a love for ski videos and the style that skiers have. i did well skiing but i'm so much better at snowboarding and i like stomping shit instead of being scared of stuff hahah. but i love it and i really started posting a lot this past year and definitely these two summers ns has saved my life with a daily dose of humor i love it.

sorry for the second post but i lurked for at least a year before i made an account. My freshman year of college my roommate used to come home drunk and anytime i was on my computer he used to yell, "what are you doing? looking at pictures on newschoolers????"

Someone called first on a freeskier.com article and someone else told them "this isn't newschoolers" so I cam here. Just lurked looking at the news for a solid year. Forums for a month or so then jumped right in
