Currently looking for a long, stiff pair of rods to bounce up and down on this winter... I like something wide underfoot, I already have a soft/playful ski, and looking for something that is going to be a bit more stable at higher speeds, and something with rocker that is going to float me like a flourescent orange USCG lifevest... ALSO, the catch that gets everyone.. I'm looking for something not very expensive.... which is a big reason I was drawn to the surface one lifes. They seem to be the stiffest model Surface makes, they have a good amount of rocker (although I would like to hear reviews from people who have ridden the ski on how the oddball rocker shape skis), relatively symmetrical, and seems to be a decent profile from pics.. although I'm also curious to see how the rocker plays with the effective sidecut of the ski. I'm not looking at getting this to ski on groomers, so it's not that huge of a deal, but would like to hear from people who have skiied it on their experiences
Other ski recommendations are welcome.
Want stiff - wide ~100+ - rockered - length 176-189 *arbitrary, feel free to go outside the range a bit*
and cheap (I can dream dammit)
