Hey i am most probably moving to NY for my dads job, i mean i live in a small town (quebec) and im pretty exited to be living in NY, but ow is the town from a skier/chill persons inside view? Thanks k+ to good ansers!

. There Is zero skiing in the city. Nearest is probaby Cbk and then you can fit in with all of the others asshole gapers from ny and nj. Sorry for stereo typing but if you ski there you know what I mean

I dont understand how any of you are real skiers with a whole 5 trails and shit like that. My home mountan has like 50 and that is just the closest one i have others that are like 2 hours away have amazing trails.

Yeah, I'm just east of Queens. Not much skiing here, except for the occasional backyard setup. In the winter though, I usually end up trekking 5 hours to Gore, Whiteface, Mt. Snow, Sunapee, or like 2.5 hours to my friends cabin in the Berkshires, which is closer, but the skiing isn't good at all.

mountain creeks 50 minutes away. theres a ton of skiers around the area, also new yorks a sick city. so much shit to do and tons of urban, its kind of the ny secret stash,

also over breaks head up to vt and shred up there, I used to live 10 minutes outside the city in nj.

you'll be skiing small shitty little mountains in connecticut or mass. unless you wanna head up to vt or some bigger mountains up farther in ny
