WHAT CAMERA DO I GET!!

ok so i have somewhere inbetween 1300 and 1650 to spend on a new VIDEO AND PHOTO camera as i am selling my d80 to put money towards it...


AT THE MOMENT

im leaning towards a 7d and a 60d

ive looked up all the reviews and whatnot on both of those cameras but has anyone here had hands on with the 60d?


ive used the 7d and i LOVE it but i need to know its worth the extra money to get


obviously since i was on a d80 i dont want to be downgrading myself by gettting the 60d and i sure as hell cant get any of the t2i/t3i serties

Jack, how important is audio to you? the AGC of the 7d sucks for video, the 60d has manual audio for video.

I dunno if id say d80 -> 60d is a down grade at all...

I went from D80 to 60D and love it. Right now I'm doing a lot of filming but it's also a great photo camera. With your budget go 60D forsure. My simple 60D, tamron 17-50 and mic setup cost me like $1800. If you buy used you can get yourself a nice setup for $1650 forsure.
