I saw Bill Gates on my way to work this morning.

/claim.

I'm almost 100% positive it was him. But I'll say I'm 95% sure because there's a 5% chance some know it all will know exactly where Bill Gates was today and will tell me he was in Libya or something.

So this made me think...who is the most famous person you've ever met/seen up close (ie: not a concert)?

I had lunch with Prince Phillip once. Also met Hugh Grant, Samuel L Jackson and have met various Scottish rugby players on nights out in Edinburgh. I also got to shred with Jossi and Byron in NZ once - that was pretty awesome.

Prince Phillip kind of wins though the mental old man that he is the chat over lunch was hilarious.

I worked a seminar with Brad Pitt this summer for Make it Right.

Been within 5 feet of Queen Elizabeth (the gov't house that she stays at when she's in my city is on the same block).

Too many NHL players to mention (if you're into that kind of thing). They ALL live in my hometown during the summer..

John Voight (Angelina Jolie's father) was filming a movie on my street a few years ago, my grandparents (live 2 doors down from me) had him and a few others over for dinner with us one night.

Met Al Pacino in a pizzeria in New York city.

Sat at a table beside Jon Bon Jovi at a restaurant in Cleveland.

My dad and his father before him used to fish up in alaska, the kind of stuff that you see on the discovery channel on deadliest catch, so I have gotten to meet a lot of the fishermen on that show, not as cool as some of yours but it meant a lot to me, those are some of the craziest mofos ever
