Replying to Need your help NS: WHAT TO ASK FOR 18th BIRTHDAY

so my birthday is coming up here pretty soon (middle of October) and me and my whole family were at dinner. Anyways, my mom and ("well-off") grandma asked me what I was wanting. This cought me completely off guard. I didn't evern really realize that my birthday is so close. My grandma made it apparent that she wants to get me something super special (electronically) but I dont really even know what I want. So what are some ideas? She asked if I would like an iPad and I said no because I wouldn't use it that much. I'm thinking about asking for some kind of laptop because that will be really beneficial this senior year and at college. If I ask for one I was thinking the new Mac book pro? Any one have any thoughts about that? Pros, cons? I'm also thinking about asking (from my parents probably) for a plane ticket to go tour a couple colleges and also see my girlfriend. So. What's your thoughts NS? What should I ask for? I'm a guy by the way. And inb4 someone says I'm a spoiled little rich kid. I'm not! I've bought basically every piece if ski equipment I have. But thanks though. I'd really like some helpful ideas. From both my parents and grandma. +k might even be given out! THANKS!!
