Yeah, this game was awesome. Campaign horde, beast all good. Excpet multiplayer!
Holyshit it's bad. Felt like call of duty with weak guns. In an interview epic said they were gonna "embrace the shotgun". Its the complete opposite. Gears was always good because if you were good with the shotgun you could rule the game just by wall bouncing and popshotting. Now all it is, is stand back and see who can shoot the most bullets in 5 minutes. They fixed gears 2 biggest problem which was the host connection and shitty matchmaking configuration, but changed how the game play completley. The only time im having a blast is on checkout or anyother time i can get in close with the shotty. Even then it was ruined. The sawed off is a load of shit that just makes the game even more BK friendly. I force myself to sit down and play thinking it's gonna get better , or im gonna find a way tto not be downed by a lancer in 2 seconds. But nope i just get pissed off and go to versus and shoot up bots cause then i can actually use my shotgun. Which is another flaw, ranking up in offline for multiplayer is just asking for people to boost. Dlc is already announced for november, meaning they cut out a huge chunk of the campaign just so they could make more money. I like this game alot but those are my major issues for sure.
