Can anyone recommend me a mic around $50

ill say it right now, i know absolutely nothing about microphones. it will be used on a boom pole (so hotshoe it a must), and plugged into a computer for voiceovers. i assume i want a shotgun mic? maybe that doesnt make sense, buuuutttt.... yea. :)

audio-technica atr6550. dont know what kind of camera and input u have though. assuming 3.5mm
