Yeah - its like seriously about a 2 centimeter difference, and a slight angle to the left vs. right.
Would you guys prefer we keep working on this, or move onto adding more cool stuff?
Remember, freaking out about small stuff leads us to focus on that small stuff vs. getting bigger things finished.

How do you know something isn't going to catch your eye that really interests you? Getting mad and frustrated because you were taken to the News page over NSG is honestly pretty sad. Step outside your box and take a look at NS for what is really is. Which is not NSG.

Basically because Media as a whole was such an ungodly massive change. :)
It took us most of the last two years to really get the back end right. It was really crazy actually.
Anyways, should be a whole bunch better now. :)

The page layouts for event coverage and news are not eye-catching in the least. The titles of the various "articles" are also nothing special as far as getting your attention.

Exactly, media is both labor and cost intensive. These little changes are waste of time as far as I can see (if there is some good reason behind it, please share to clear it up). You guys could do so much more to make your media so good you can remain independent of Youtube and Vimeo imbeds, so whenever time is spent on things like moving the forums into a different order....I seriously just don't get that.

The header changes are quick. They are being changed because we're ordering them for total efficiency.
Most popular sections are the quickest accessible by the shortest amount of mouse movement.
Deal with the learning curve of the changes (>1day) and you'll realize its the right move.
So open your minds... we're doing this for you.
