dude, you may not agree with the president, but you WILL respect him for his position!!! i hated Clinton, ive done alot of research about his time in office, and come to the conclusion that he was the biggest traitor this country has ever had:
-legacy
-high crimes and misdemeanors: the case against bill clinton
-dereliction of duty
-let freedom ring
-treason
- and several other books i cant remember the names of

even though i think his chracter was not merely flawed, but evil, i still respected his position, and would not wish him death, even though he destroyed this country's natl. security, i would still respect him as president, and would never 'throw rocks at him'

you may not like him, but if youre american, he is you president and should be treated with respect

So... aggro_sk8, you read a bunch of anti-clinton propaganda and determined that he was evil? Hitler youth anyone? I've read 2 Michael Moore books, but I don't take them at face value. The president should not be respected JUST BECAUSE HE'S THE PRESIDENT. That isn't patriotism, it's blind, misplaced nationalism. General principle of patriotism: if your leader isn't doing his job, that hurts the country, and if you love that country, you should remove things that hurt it. The leader is not automatically infallible.

I don't have any real respect for Bush himself. His position, certainly, but not the man himself. I have trouble identifying any respectable characteristics in him.

Elgato: Your family has an income of well over 200,000 dollars annually? If I end up making that much money, I intend to donate a substantial amount to charity anyways. I don't think anyone needs absurd sums of money to live well... for me, it'd just be a pair of skis and a mountain. But that would be up to you, I suppose.

Well J.D. if you said if you made that much you would donate to charitites anyway. Which most fo the rich do for the tax benefits dont you think it is logical to let them keep donating their money directly to the poor and organizations they choose. Instead of having the governemt take more of their money(meaning they are donating less) and dispercing it as they please while barely n e of it makes it to the needy!




Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

havn't read this whole thread so this might be irelavent but i live in a rather high class town most people here make well over 200,000 yet most of the town also supports Kerry.

Also to the person who listed about Clinton why not list some of the good he did like wiht the national debt?

listen, im sure there are some wealthy americains out there who donate their money to good charities such as homeless, poor, etc. etc. but, and i may be going out on a limb here, the wealthy americains who are bush supporters would more than likely put their money into bush's campaign. think about it, bush gets donations of millions and millions. who can afford to give donations up to millions of dollars? the wealthy of course.

haha this makes me think of a great episode of the Simpsons. When President George Bush, Sr. moves in as next-door neighbors to the Simpsons, and they just fuck with him. Bart waits on the roof above his front door with a bottle of glue, homer rings the doorbell, then when Bush steps out, bart sprays the glue on his head and homer puts a rainbow-colored afro wig on his head. it stayed there for weeks (in the show). damn i love that show. such great ideas.
