Ways to spend approximately $3000

How would you guys spend three grand to maximize fun per dollar? My girlfriend will also have $3k so activities where we could pool our resources are welcome as well.

Some ideas that I have so far are:

blow
hookers
butt sex
my little pony
marsland
weed
three chicks at the same time
give it away to a 14 year old from NS
(just wanted to get those out of the way)

- climbing and mountaineering gear
- rafting gear
- cheap mountain bike and shoes (probably a rockhopper)
- cheap road bike (felt f series)
- scuba cert and gear
- trips to mexico
- volcano mountaineering trip in ecuador
- some sort of outdoor certification/training (already have wfr)

any ideas?

solid ideas so far guys, i'm jotting them all down. I don't want to invest it in equities or metals because I have other savings that I'll be socking away. This is specifically fun money that we'll have as a consequence of making sacrifices this spring.

i hear you, i'm volunteering for 3 months at a school and a rescue home in Nepal right now and i'll keep sending the kids stuff once I get back to the states while finding local programs to get into.

I'd pay off my perkins, and put the rest as a huge payment on my streetbike. I only owe a few $K on it now so getting pretty close to having zero debt outside my school loans, which has been a goal of mine for some time now.

You could purchase a pretty decent, most likely 10+ years old. Which may sound shady but if you buy a Japanese or European models they are often much more durable then an American model like Mercedes or Saab. This means you will spend significantly less in repairs and get more bang for your buck.

Invest half in your retirement/later in life (ie: Roth IRA, buying your first home, first family SUV, furniture, things like that). You will absolutely hate doing it now, but you will love yourself for it later.
