Salomon Rocker 2 Mounting

I need to figure out what would be a good mounting point as Mike Douglas said the only mark is -8 1/2 or so and that is much to far back for my liking and mounting center wouldn't make a ton of sense to me considering i don't do a ton of switch riding in pow. What would be a good point to mount at i have considered -2.5 and -3.5 but I need some more opinions

Mounting point was the big debate when we all first got our rocker 2's last season. Last season the markings were not as good as this year, mine did not even have any markings. I ended up centering mine, which is equivilent to +6cm this season. My freind went +3 and the rest were between +3-5cm. I liked mine centered but I want more nose as they are very soft so this year Im remounting at +4cm. That seems to be from a season of use to be about the best all round postion. I must say if you just like to jib in the pow and not charge, center felt awsome, but for a more stable big mountain feel, I think +4cm is about the best.

Just to claify when I say +3cm I mean on the skis mounting chart. Center is +6cm on that ski, so I dont mean mount them +4cm from center but at +4cm on the scale.

Alright thanks a lot man would they still be able to pull a bunch of tricks like rodoes, 3's, 5's and such mounted at +4

Yeah for sure. It would make 3's and 7's easier as there is more nose so you can get away with being a little forward on landing. Switch riding was not really affected by moving them back. They lose some playfullness but what you lose you more then make up for in stability.
