Backpack help

im in the market for a new pack.
I'm looking for something that will be good for backcountry day trips, AND be able to fit my camera block, but not both at the same time.
The camera block is about 11"x11"x6", I would love to be able to access this via the back panel.
I'm thinking around 30-40L.
A-frame ski carry is a must.
I'd like to stay away from dakine.
I'd like to keep the price under $150

There is an osprey pack, and a BCA pack whose names I don't remember that fit my specs, but idk if the camera block will fit.

Dou have a BCA pack? The thing in worried about is the camera fitting

This is to replace my dakine blade, which doesn't fit my camera very well, doesn't have good a-frame carry, and has no suspension system

I use the BD Outlaw. It's an awesome pack, carries skis a couple different ways including A-frame. Holds my F-Stop Camera block when I need it too. has rear entry if you're just carrying the camera by itself. Carries very well if you're pack is heavy or light. dedicated avy gear compartment

I think that is the osprey pack I was looking at.
What size do you have?
So you think it would fit my camera block nicely?

There is 3 sizes. The 22, 30, and 38. I have the 30. It's the perfect size pack. I can fit lots. I don't know how big your camera block is so I wouldn't know. But I'm guessing it could in the 30 and if not the 38.

F-Stop Tilopa carries better than any pack I've ever used, period. Save up for one, totally worth it.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a bc pack that can carry my icu than photo pack that can do bc

I'm leaning towards the osprey kode 38 right now

Just gott back from rei, they ha the kode 30, which almost fit my camera stuff, so I think I'll go with the 38
The newer dakine blade fit my camera stuff super well, and is definitely a lot better than my old one, but I don't like the top access
