Should I Name My Dog Taco Or Carlos

I am procrastinating planning this management/operations audit so I need you guys to help me decide if I should name my dog Taco or Carlos.

I don't have the dog yet and I can't start dog hunting until I get back to the States in December.

Breed recommendations are welcome as well but I tend to like larger breeds (greater swiss, bernese, german shep, lab mixes, blue heelers, etc...). I want something that is big enough to wrestle and play with. Said dog should be able to summit 14ers on a regular basis.

If you haven't seen the 3 part mini-series on Carlos the Jackal then please go watch it. I think it is on demand through the sundance channel and it's also on netflix.

I've heard it's bad to name dogs something with the "oh" sound because they associate it with "no" and get anxious when you say their name.

Ya I've heard this too. But my dog's name is bo and he seems to tell the difference easily between no and Bo, I think it's more about tone of voice, PS I vote taco

You know they were originally bred to hunt badgers right? Once upon I would say they were pretty badass. Those things are vicious.

Yes I'm quite aware. No one uses them for hunting nowadays though. There are tons of breeds that are infinitely more capable

I named this kid in gym class taco because hes a little mexican... I dont think you should give your dog a human name... assuming you havent picked out a dog+name since this thread was made.
