Quick question about JJ's and SFB

I need to buy new skis this year and I currently think I am going to buy Armada JJ's. I do most of my skiing in Revelstoke and Jasper.

I demoed the 185 jj's last year and really liked them, but it was a great powder day. Does anyone have experience with these skis on just the average day? How do they handle in crud and on groomers?

I have alos consider looking in the Sir Francis Bacon. I think it would be a little for versatile on non pow days and could even be used for laps in the park.

Any thoughts/comments would be great

The JJ's do surprisingly well on hardpack and variable conditions. The traditional camber and sidecut really makes it easy to get them on edge when the snow is questionable.
The SFB is a dope ski as well. However torsionally they are a bit softer which means they are a bit more playful and buttery (if that's what your into).
Since your shreddin up at Revy, I assume you will be skiing bigger shit and not buttering too often. I would definitely say go for the JJ.

Thanks man. Has anyone ever taken the JJ's for a lap in the park? Are they manageable?

The JJ's do surprisingly well in the park. They are carveable off jumps. They also happen to feel quite light and lively in the air. I also think that since the underfoot is a bit wider it provides a bit more stability on rails, all though that's just opinion.
Out of all of the skis I have ridden, the JJ easily stands out as the best everyday ski.
