Haha this is unrelated.... but I just thought about the last episode of Malcolm in the Middle where he goes to Harvard/ is the janitor and Reese is the janitor at their old high school.

You're welcome to read my novel when it's finally on shelves after working everything out with Random House and the editor... and learn lots you don't know about me!! Been a little over 3 tough years now but the end is in sight... (hopefully). Shit will drive you crazy, but the result/reward is eternal, regardless if it has any success or not. and considering my parents are profs @ MIT and Harvard on the side, and grew up in the best possible environment for nurturing a growing mind.... this and every other factor aside... just taking genetics into account: Is it really that much of a surprise or disappointment that I am not actually the stoner-dumbfuck-alias image that I have projected on this website over the past years?

I know a girl who is also paying like 500 a semester to go to Cornell..so yeah you dont have to be rich to go. Also my classes at Penn are pretty small and you can definitely get the relationship with a teacher its easy.

cornell has seven schools bro.  3 are state schools, the rest are private.  Just Early Decisioned to CALS, hoping to hear good news in december.

Is it really? I'm deciding between Western Washington and Montana State. WWU is in-state a d a lot closer/cheaper, but living in Bozeman looks fucking sick.

You picked MSU over Cornell and Penn? Maybe if you went to Boulder I would believe you, but MSU common really? Why did you even bother paying the application fees?

going to an ivy league school isnt about teaching quality, its more about establishing very very good networks. the tuition is very expensive, and who pays for it? the parents, who are usually super connected, so when you graduate from an ivy league school you basically know the owners of the companies that you want a job at. If I wanted to be a douchebag I would go that route, but its against my morals. there should be equal opportunity for everyone...

But ivy league schools have legit facilities and groups.

Hey everyone, just thought I would bump this thread to see if anyone had an interview or got accepted to an Ivy League school this year.

I have my interview tomorrow and I'm pretty freaking nervous.
