I thought she had at least a year with Orage left?
Unless it's not an outerwear sponsor, and I just have no clue what's really going on.

Yeah I'm super puzzled. Kaya has a pro-model jacket with orage for the season and everything. Its still up on orage's website too. Can you have 2 outerwear sponsors?

If you read the article you will understand. Also, orage already named the jacket the kaya pro, they aren't going to change it after it's already being sold under that name

I already read the article. I get that shes with Nike now. But has she completely left Orage then? TJ Schiller left orage for nike to.

In the article she says she's on Nike for shoes and outerwear. Which means she's not on orage anymore because orage was her outerwear sponsor. You can't really have two outerwear sponsors...

Good maybe she can help make some quality 6.0 outerwear cause their current product falls apart after two days of riding.

sucks for you. my kampai jacket has held up great

Yeah my kampai is semi wearable but the liner is literally coming apart at the seams. The real crappola piece......like so crappola it should get an award, are the budmo pants. You frigging sneeze too hard and you'll no shit blow em right off your legs. Easily the worst quality ski pant of all time. But according to Nike I took a sharp foreign object to them on purpose. What shit customer service. They truly suck. Had my local outerwear expert look at both pieces and he said there is no frigging way in hell that any legit company wouldn't warranty them but noooo. Guess little Chinese kid slave labor is far too expensive these days.

Yeah Orage is such a high quality brand. There stuff rocks, and they're really stepping it up for this year, from using gore-tex, and making a big old one piece suit. Sucks that she kinda bailed on orage for 6.0 (Although I have a few of their shoes and afew of their packs, and their packs are far better than dakines stuff, and their shoes are mega comfy, superlite) Next thing ya know, phil will be switching to the north face or somthing.....

Yeah the 6.0 shoes IME have been bombproof. I've beat the poops outta em doin mtb. But their outerwear is seriously the worst I've owned and the customer service blows. I called and explained the issue and they were like "yeah no prob send em in and we will give ya a credit on the site to get new ones, but get insurance and tracking in the package ok?" so it cost me $20 to send the crap back and literally within a week they sent em back with a letter saying their decision was final and that I had done the damage myself with a sharp foreign object. Cause ya know I spend money on outerwear just to shred it up with a knife right? Friggin tards.

yeah but, can you send back your car if you crash it into a light post? i'm not trying to defend anybody, but it sounds like rips and shit shouldn't be covered by warrenty. maybe i'm wrong. never tried to rplace a a jacket like that, even if I rip it on a tree run

Yeah your right dude and honestly they said the decision is final so I seriously have nothing to lose by lying to ya. So my first day out wearing them I see a boarder in the lift line with the same pants and a rip going all the way up the back of one pant leg. He says to me "hey you got the shit budmos too huh?" I said mine were fine so far and asked what happened. He went on to tell me it was his first day wearing his as well and on his first run he fell back on a box and that happened. Now at the time I thought the sane thing your probably thinking about me. I figured no way pants should rip like that. I've been skiing a long time, taken numerous falls, caught pants on trees and never ripped a pair like that from one fall. Well and the end of the day I while I was in the lodge I noticed a bunch of tears in my pants. I hadn't fallen once and did zero tree runs that day. All park and groomers. I'm figuring it was from iron crosses but still. There's no way that should happen. After examining the tears I realized that the outer material was literally paper thin and you could no shit tear it apart with your bare hands. Don't believe me? Get a pair of budmos and try yourself. So anyway, after a few more days of riding I stated to notice the liner in my jacket was coming apart at the seams as well and after 4 days of riding in the pants they were trashed. I've worn all different types of outerwear but never....never experienced such shotty product. For the older heads, even the old ballz shell pants held up better than these. Totally ridiculous. So buyer beware. I've heard kids on here say their 6.0 outerwear has been fine. Maybe they don't ski that hard. Maybe they're lucky. I dunno. But I'd rather tell peeps so they don't blow money on crap product then stay silent and allow Nike to put out turds ya know?

really? my kampai jacket has held up amazingly this season. i caught its pocket on a door lock thing running by it, you know that part on the frame the lil stub goes into, and there wasn't ANY damage. the door however wouldn't close correctly after that..

Yeah my jacket issue is the inner liner seams separating from the shell. Like the seams are literally coming loose like they haven't been lock stitched or something. The pants though are jus cheap materials period.
