That's right! I have here a moderately used set of 171 Line Invaders with the "Luchador" graphic from 2008. Rest assured this is the model with the carbon ollie bands.
SUPER playful and fun ski!
Mounted 2.5 times (reused toe-piece holes when downsizing a boot) for a 337mm BSL. Still has one more good mount in 'em. I am the second owner.
When purchased used they were still nearly brand new with zero base damage.
I have put about 20+ days on them. Bases are in VERY good shape for a 3 year old park ski. No deep gouges or core shots requiring p-tex attention. Only hit a handful of rails last season. My forte is really kickers and boxes.
No missing edges and ZERO edge cracks.
NO signs at all of any de-lam in shovel or tail.
Typical top sheet scratches/chipping. Nothing beyond the fiberglass underlayer of the cap.
The tips have started developing a slight rocker due to the soft flex pattern of the ski. Typical with Invaders and A-Bangs used longer then a season. Tails are still very flat.
Please note skis are stored inside my air conditioned room with a layer of wax on all times.
Skis always waxed every 1-2 days. No dry patches on bases.
