Replying to Kite surf beginner equipment?

hey guys,

i think i want to start kiting, not hardcore, but it seems like a fun thing to do in summer. i was wakeboarding a few times and although i was kinda hard, it was hella fun and i guess kiting is a lot harder but equal or more fun.

so while browsing the net, there are currently some mad summer sales going on and i would just like to know (i bet there are some good kiters on here) what kind of board/kite/bar you need as a beginner to start out at a low price?

like are there different types of boards? what size a kite do you need for "normal stuff"? etc?
