Replying to Fucker Scratching My Car

So since September first I haven't had proper insurance on my Volkswagen and have have been driving my parents cars to school, around town etc... My school is full of fucking losers who think they are hard and smoke at lunch because they think they're so fucking cool and pretend to be thug but still ride the bus and get ripped off for weed. Anyways, I tend to be one of those people that you either really love or REALLY hate. Apparently some people hate me enough to put a deep 8 inch long gouge into the trunk of my dad's 2002 Audi a4 (probably a $1000 fix) last week and then again today write bitch with a key, although not as deep but still its scratched in, on the trunk. I'm almost 100% certain its the same fuck up but I'm not sure who. I've thought about setting up my gopro in the back windshield and driving it everyday and waiting for more scratches but i wouldn't have enough memory. So.. What kind of methods do you think might work to draw this cunt out and find out who it is? And also, what would you suggest doing to them? I was thinking (if they are too big for me to kick the shit out of) I would call the cops and take them to court and make them pay damages/get charged for vandalism of my property or whatever.. Thoughts?
