honestly if you're setting for a flat 3 it's prob the easiest trick to set in skiing. most people just throw it backy style but i like to try and actually set them as a flatspin. For me, i open up my left shoulder completely and reach down with my right hand to grab safety. It helps alot if you put almost all of your weight on your right ski's outside edge and have almost no weight on your left leg. This is just how i like to set them, but i'd suggest learning rodeos because a rodeo 5 is a very similiar set
