Alright guys so as the title suggests I'm just getting into getting all my own gear, i decided i would rather ski than play hockey this year. I'm 5'10 160lbs, rode some park last year and that's what i'm planning on doing for the most part along with jumps.
I'm looking for a decent ski that will hold up for at least a year or two. I've been looking at the Surface no times and double times but i'm game for looking at everything you guys suggest. don't really want a waist thats wider than 100. not looking to spend anymore than about $350 or so for skis.
In need of some boots as well. I wear a size 10 or 10.5 shoe for the most part, thinking a 28 will be a nice fit. Looking for used or new, I've had interest in the full tilt hot doggers, the salomon spk's kreation and kaos, and the nordica ace of spades looked like they'd be pretty sick. i've heard boots should be my main concern so i'm open to spending around $400 for new and $200 for something used.
Thanks for any help, it's much appreciated
