problem with this is you have to make a feature that lots of tricks can be done on. so it' can't be completely ridiculous but it has to be different.

my mountain did something like this for a private park shoot. But instead of a butter box it was just a big butter pad to cannon, but with some other features coming off of it.

but anyone remember the loop from propaganda? okay, one of those, but you get air in the middle. so it's a jump where you land upside down and complete the loop. easy! to whoever takes that idea, draws it up and wins, youre welcome

but for real, the winner isnt gonna be a super crazy cool feature i bet... more plausible for winning would be like a big nice feature with a bunch of cool options..maybe a huge hip that the especially brave could hit straight plus some other cool shit added on

RED=WALLRIDE TRANNY
BLUE=SKIERCROSS-STYLE BANKED TURNS
ONE OF THE RAILS WOULD BE A LAUNCH BAR, THE OTHER WOULD BE FLAT

The skier would have the option to hit the rollercoaster butter pad, or hit one of the wallride trannies on either side, leading them into a banked turn, then either an flat rail, ending at the knuckle, or a launch bar, over the flat bar, ending maybe five feet before the knuckle. The picture isn't really clear, but the rails would be arranged at a 90 degree angle. The flat rail would be far enough away from the launch rail so the skier wouldn't hit under any circumstances, and the launch rail would be high enough so the skier could clear the flat rail. Something high consequence that really tests the riders skill as well as creativity. But more basically just something that will benefit their run just to stick... Huge rail gap? The feature tanner and wyley miller got broken on? Something that will make people remember the contest!

IT WOULD PROBABLY BE BETTER FOR A PARK SHOOT THAN A SLOP COMP, QUARTERPIPES ARE KIND OF IMPRACTICAL. ALSO MADE THIS LIKE A YEAR AGO.

Breck is celebrating 50 Years this season. That’s right, 50 years of being in the game! 50 years of progression, leading the pack, and elevating the sport – being one of the first to allow snowboarding, host major competitions, build park and pipe features, and of course home to some of the world’s best athletes. And in honor of that we are giving YOU the chance to get involved with us and win some sweet prizes!

Do you always have an opinion on what’s going on in the park? Are you super creative and capable taking it to the next level? Then Design a Feature for the Breck Dew Tour course! Winner gets their feature built and aired in the competition on national TV, PLUS a trip to come hang out for the event VIP style December 15-18th. In the past few years, the walls between park and backcountry skiing have been repeatedly gapped (note the pun). Events such as the Redbull Linecatcher Competition stand tribute to this. This blend of natural and artificial features is clearly the direction skiing has been destined to go since the beginning.
This feature will blow those aforementioned walls away, much the same way ski patrol may blow away this feature.
This feature will break down the barriers between backcountry and park skiing, just as it may very well break the ankles of Tanner Hall
