Can a general practitioner prescribe me Adderall? Just looking to give it a try because I need help focusing with my school work. I mean what's typically the process in obtaining a prescription?

This.

Adderall did nothing but fuck with my body. It helped with my focus and everything, but it made me feel like complete shit every day. I find that ganj helps a lot with my ADHD and doesn't fuck up my body.

my buddy went to an ADHD test and got too bored waiting so he left.

on another note, fuck adderal. i was never diagnosed with adhd but my mom got my doctor to prescibe me anyway when i was really young, and now i HATE it. it makes me all jitery

this i take it almost everyday during the school yr i feel like shit the whole time i think a lot has to do with the fact it makes you feel full and not wanting to eat all the time so i dont eat till 9 at night at the earliest and i take it at around 7 am

If you want to feel like a sack of shit everyday, Go for it. It does help you focus but it made me feel depressed and overall just shitty.

This, If so try to get a medical ganj license. Like, Yeah, it will help you but it's going to fuck you up for sure. Some girl recently killed herself because of the depression and stuff.

Get some coffee, go to a quiet room either at your library or house, bump some mellow tunes and go at it. You don't need drugs to study.

but seriously. the side affects are way worse than you can even imagine....


think about how much you love food- that goes away and you hate food.
your body cannot regulate it's heat anymore and your feet may turn purple and become numb... you feel freezing in hot rooms and you sweat profusely
you feel like a ghost when you are coming down from the buzz "concentration" it gives you. buncha bullshit.


ALSO- if you write half of a paper on it and the other half without it, your paper will make no sense. period.

^^^ wow some kids have been watching too much "like a lion"... I took it before diplomas in highschool.. but now i'm in second year uni and haven't touched it since. Just get interested in what your learning or the paper you're righting and actually care and say hey i want to be smart. That will do you more good than any adderall.

false, my PCP offers me adderall every time I see him whether in the office or at work (he also does rounds at the hospital I work at) because he thinks I am still slacking in school (I'm not).


There are also side effects, but from what I hear if you truly have ADD they are much milder.

i used to dabble a bit in the business, but only when i had an overwhelming amount of work to get done at university, which usually was right around midterms and finals. i really didn't like the stuff- sure it made me focused, but it really fucked with me mentally and physically. things seemed real bleak on it, especially around november in montreal when the weather is grey, rainy, and cold. and for the rest of the week, i would be seriously depressed and have trouble sleeping. that may have been b/c i am already a fairly focused person and don't need the stuff though.

Dont give it a try. You will hate life after a few weeks on it. Its a highly addictive drug as well. It changes you so damn much.  I have super add and adderall does help with it but i would rather just be myself then have to rely on a pill to focus and not be me.

Dude, smoking weed for me balances it out. With adderall I don't eat, sleep but I can focus hard core. When I smoke it eat, sleep and still can focus when it is needed. its like I just edited my prescription haha.

i have an adderall perscription and it actually works well for me and i dont get back side effects, you just have to know how to use it. I really only take it if i have a long hard test or something important. also if im driving long distances, it keeps me alert but does not make me feel like i have to be moving around. but it works completely different for different people, just depends on how your body reacts to it.
