People that did something right yet it wasn't legal

So yeah, I'm doing a school project and I need some more examples of people (can be real or like from a movie ex...) that did something that was right even though it wasn't legal. I already have
-rosa parks
-the resistance
-nelson mandela

and since we're talking about the law

A friend of mine saw a girl drowning in a part of a beach that you're not supposed to go on, he went over to save her, he rescued her and brought he to shore, only to be be cought and found guilty of trespassing.

the guy who gave dying patients the lethal injection (by their choice) because they would suffer a worse death or had a limited time to live due to disease. i think he is in jail, but he is a great example depending on your views and maybe youll even start an arguement
