Since when is an iPod a person?

I was having trouble with my ipod's battery so I started reading the apple support page.

"If you connect iPod to something that connects to the computer"

Why are they trying to make it sound so damn special? They've already got the whole second letter capitalization thing I don't think they need to refer to an iPod as if it were a human being.

I'm convinced that someone else came in after and deleted the "your" in front of iPod because it looks like they missed one.

"If you use your iPod with a computer using Windows 2000"

Or maybe it's just a tactic to make Windows seem shittier than macs. Like if you connect your iPod/angelsSinging to a PC, it won't be as important anymore.
