Honestly portion control is the biggest part of losing weight. I've seen people who workout 5x a week and are fatasses because they can't control what they eat. Scoop smaller portions than usual onto your plate at dinner time, as once its on your plate, you will want to finish it. Eat slowly and with TONS of small bites instead of wolfing it down. Eat more than 3 meals a day (but eat small portions)... if you're constantly eating, your body is keeping your metabolism up. Working out wise, just make it a healthy routine (good mix of cardio and weights/resistance) that you can stick to in the long term.. as there is no use in losing weight if you're just going to put it back on afterwards. Also, don't be crazy focused on losing weight FAST... just keep maintaining healthy habits and the fat will drop away naturally. Most people who lose weight fast with gimmicky programs end up putting it back on
And good luck!
Fruit contains many vitamins and minerals and is part of a healthy diet. Fruit calories are minimal compared to calories in most American snack foods or desserts.
One of the best tips for losing weight is to eat a diet that contains a lot of fruit and vegetables. Calories in fruit are extremely low due to a high watercontent, which not only helps hydrate you, but nourishes muscles and organs. Fruit contains high amounts of fiber, which is great for the digestion and will help you to feel full faster. A great dieting tip is to eat a piece of fruit before your regular meals to help refrain from overeating.
A lot of people worry about the sugar content in fruit or the fat in fruits like avocados. But fruits are low in sugar and fat compared to other foods in our diets.
For example, a fruit salad is a great dessert that contains only about 100 calories for one cup whereas a scoop of vanilla ice cream contains 260 calories. An avocado has 276 calories and is high in fat, but it’s a goodhealthy fat and if you choose guacamole instead of queso you’ll be saving about 150 calories plus getting the nutritional benefits from the avocado, tomato, garlic, and onion.
My .02.. get a good routine of waking up at the same time every day.. doesn't matter when you fall asleep but if you get up and eat breakfast at the same time it'll get your metabolism going.. early morning runs suck ass but they help a lot.
As for the plastic bag trick that's one of the most dangerous things you can do to cut weight, it'll give you a heat stroke.
