Is skiing a sport

my friend doesn't think snowboarding/skiing is a sport but I disagree. what do you guys think?

football honestly sucks, they don't do it cause they enjoy the game, they do it cause their greedy and want more money, i work hard to at my job year around and don't get paid squat

Honestly, People really won't understand why we go out everyday in the winter and push the limits and chuck our selves off of huge park jumps or epic BC lines. They won't understand why we are willing to risk it for that feeling.

He's probably just another one of those kids who think the only sport in the world is Football. Skiing is most definitely a sport, you need physical strength, agility, commitment, and mental strength. Not to mention the fact that you can get more messed up on a big jump than you can in a football tackle
