These guys are total assholes but make some damn good points. I just
disagree with their absolute sureness that they are right. Hell, I may
not be right.

I personally believe that anything is possible, but I refuse to have
faith. Sure, it's possible there's a god, and that some of this stuff is
true, but it's also possible that none of it is, or that an even
crazier reality exists. Am I going to believe it without proof though?
No. Will I tell other people to think this way? No. Would I try to
legislate based on this kind of stuff? No. Religion doesn't belong in
any part of society, but it's okay for you to believe it. As long as you
don't try to shove it down my throat that is. That is why I have a
problem with religion in general. And I hate to generalize, but most
religious people try to spread their faith throughout others. The
practice of baptism especially is disgusting. At least wait to do that
until the child is old enough to make an informed decision. And to the
people who say religion is good because they provide you with morals: Do
you really need someone else to tell you what your morals are? Do what
you believe is right for you. Religious people also tend to think that
their set of morals is for everyone to follow and that it should be
legislated. There's just too much contradiction.
That was probably badly written and I apologize. Keep in mind that I'm
raised in a Roman Catholic family and have risen above the dogma. So I
probably know enough about this stuff to make an informed choice.
