Problem with Boots.

So I live pretty far away from any ski 'community', and there's only 1 shop within a few hours from me. The problem is, they don't seem to know much about boot fitting. When I went to buy boots for the first time (And my first pair of boots ever), they didn't really help much. Just kinda put it on and asked if it felt good.


I'm looking for new boots, but don't want to go back there if I can't get a proper fit. What should I do?

Well where do you ski? all mountains will hve at least one decent shop where you can get boots. Never buy boots online it's simply too much of a risk. If your a seriuos skier driving a few hours is well worth it for boots. I hve had customers drive 8 hours to get there boots fitted.

On your next ski vacation, get there a few days early and visit a few shops in the area. Where do you usually go?

How London would it take you to get to snowshoe in west va?....there's gotta be some types of decent shop there.
