Burned hole in seat, heaaaalllppp

so i went to throw a little cigar out the window of my truck and i thought it went out but then when i got out of the truck i thought is smelled like ash. looked around and sprayed some axe, then i got out of the truck and the butt was trapped between my back and the back of the seat, dont know how it got there of all places but anyway it burned a little hole in my vintage interior. not like a actual hole but it melted the fabric. any suggestions to make this less noticeable?

i assume you checked out the link. im pretty sure they sell repair kits or something. also got to a shop where the do interior detail, im sure they have done it before.

again, is it cloth or leather?

my truck is a 1983 chevy s10 diesel, they only made them for 2 years and mine has the highest interior option available.




also it was a dutch master. i found a whole box of them in my basement from the 70's.

my truck is 11 years older than your 83 mini truck. its not that cool bro, i mean sure the little isuzu diesel is kinda hard to find, but its not like you have a numbers matching SS camaro or anything like that

for a 17 year old kid? and obviously a matched ss would be worth a ton. im just saying that there was one on ebay in the same condition as mine, without some of the original diesel tags, that mine has that went for 10 grand.

take it to the dealership you bought it from. if you bought it from a private party, take it where ever your parents, friends ect bought a car. go to the used car dept and ask the manager who takes care of it for them. they will help you. usually you will have to take your car to the dealership the day that the guy that does that repair comes in that week. usually less than 50 bucks. it will look pretty good. any small issue, this is the best process. wheel curbing, door dings, leather tears, scuffed bumpers. I worked at a number of dealerships in my life and if there is a cosmetic blemish a car can have, there is a guy that can fix it.
