Saw that fight from the balcony right above. What was that about? Saw the dude punch security in the face, so the security guy socked him like 4 times and put him to the floor, then they dragged him out. Nuts.
Also, did I see parker white trying to pull security off... or was it just someone who looked a little like him?
not to sure didnt see how it started, turned looked and saw them rolling around on the ground Logan was swinging like crazy and the security guards were whaling on him when he was on the ground and Liam and Parker were tryin to pull them off, when Liam and Parker finally got control of Logan they walked him outside, other than that, no clue...if anyone else knows/saw anything more...add your two sense
Thanks for the info. I never got a good look at his face, but when I saw parker white trying to pull security off, I definitely wondered who it could be.
When I noticed what was going on, Their was one security guard and Chris shoving back and forth. Don't know who or what started it all, but I'm interested to hear more...
yeahh it started up by where they were all signing posters at the start then they were like rolling on the ground and made it within feet of the door...
but yeahh like you said, wonder what started it and also interested to hear more
yeah pretty sure i heard glass break behind the autograph stations a few times not sure what that was about. didnt see the fight just heard some guys yelling 'stop beating him'. Insane movie though, didnt have a banger segment but overall was soooooooooooooooooooooo insane.
Pretty good summary right here... it seemed like 2/3 of the segments ended before the songs were done, I couldn't figure out why. Parker, Wiley, Ahmet, and Compton/Wesson were the segments that stood out the most, although I feel like I'm forgetting a couple. I was bummed about Delorme's segment, he's usually one of my favorite riders but I didn't feel like they did a good job at all of showing how good he is. Although that triple was pretty cool.
Maybe I'm just spoiled after seeing the Art of Flight twice in the past two days...
All in all the movie was really cool, great editing for sure. However they blended the weirdest segments like Bibby and Wallish shared a segment? odd for sure but ugh it was dope buy it!
what happened is parker and logan were messing around with each other like slapping each other and shit, jokingly of course, and the security guard saw this and freaked on Logan cuz he thought he was trying to fight Pwhite and Logan didn't take it too well so it just got way out of control really quick. I guess security didn't know who the pros were and couldn't tell if it was just some rando kid trying to start shit instead of them messin.
my friend is good friends with Parker and talked to him after and that's what she told me
yeahh i heard Liam trying to explain something like they were just messing around to the security guard, but the security guard was like i dont give a fuck who he is this is our house...soo yeahh that all makes sense, thanks for the info!
i hope liam gets a full segment next year.he deserves it. same guys get segments every year and the guys that get only 4 or 5 clips get shafted. they need to mix it up with the riders
The night started with Matt Harvey DJing... which was awesome. He layed it down.
Opened up with a banger part by Parker. Some big stuff for sure... and a big frontflip. You'll see what I'm talking about.
Everything was awesome, Wiley's seggy was super standout for sure, really big tricks and some banger switch stomping.
Ahmet's shit was obviously tight.... great urban, and awesome closing song. I really liked watching Logan's shots, they were really sick and creative, for sure different and everyone was stoked on it.
People were shoving and shit where I was, plus I was hanging in the corner with a couple of the homies including Taylor Brown and his brother, the guys who did the cover of the old Allman Bros song for Wiley's part, so we were dancing and celebrating more than paying a ton of attention... looking forward to paying a little more attention at the SLC premier.
The soundtrack was awesome. Premier was got really rowdy and loud - if you missed out this year make sure to come next year!
One cool thing to mention is that there was for sure a theme that was noticeable throughout the movie, similar to older ski movies that had cool segways between segments, allowing for some humor.
Buy the movie.
Also, cheers to Matt... repping the Grizzlycorn shirt! First one I've seen.
I do believe someone mentioned it dropping on iTunes in late October, which is a drag for people who aren't seeing it at the tour, but you can always just order the disk, too
After the movie my friends and I were wondering if we'd rather get in a fight with "catfish whiskers" or the huge 6 foot guy. We decided we'd be safer going with the big guy. Catfish was super sketchy
