New Car, need some help.

Ok, so I just bought a 1999 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport for my first car. I will be getting it on monday and I am looking to buy some new rims for it and a ski rack. I have no knowledge of rims or ski racks and I need some advice here. I will be mostly looking for some black rims, I need some suggestions that are not to expensive because I do not have any money. They need to work with tires that will do well in the snow so not to big. Also please recommend any descent ski racks. +k for legit answers thank you.

Here is an example of the car I have, this is not the same car but it is very similar. Mine has copper rims right now.

as for ski rack. depends on if you want a open or closed one.

Because the rims on it are shit, if they were like the one in the pic I would be fine, and what is the difference between open and closed? pics preferably.

def get a big closed ski rack, they hold so much more. and i have an open one and they can be a pain because if you have turntable bindings they hit the roof

Get a gnar rocket pod for that thing. Craigslist is your friend for cheap rims.

for racks, either go on some rack companies websites (yakima, thule etc.) and use their thing to figure out what you need, or go to your local outdoors store (REI etc) and they can tell you, then search craigslist to get them for cheap.

i would say get some Yakima Powderhounds i think they were like $150 but you could probably find some used ones somewhere cheaper, and maybe powder coat your existing rims black to save money.

Why would you get rims if you have no money? You should save what money you have incase anything goes wrong with the car instead of just buying something you don't really need

well, those look like hub caps to me, which are plastic, so you cant powdercoat um and you would just rattle can um. powdercoating costs a few hundred
