Replying to Urgent sd card help please

so my transcend 16 gb got whacked out a while ago, i asked about it, noone responded. so i gave up on what i had, tried to format, nothing happens in windows when it says i need to format drive g, so i try, nothing. my cam wont format it, nor will any other program i try. the only thing that even realizes theres something attached is windows explorer. is this thing fried? if so that sucks because it means i have to shoot the entire weekend with 14 gbs worth of cards... fuck. help anyone?
by the way when i get to the windows formatter it doesnt want me to make it anything more than 1gb. i need answers by tonight, leaving tomorrow. thanks
