I'm creating a video to show to the leadership team at my highschool (president, treasurer commisioner's etc.). The position is a tech commisioner. Under this position I would create videos for the assemblies, run sound, and various other tech related projects but those are the main ones. I feel I'm qualified for the position because I run sound at my church (digital board, high-low-mid frequencies all that jazz), lighting there also (this consists of intellient lights custimized for our stage (strobe, wandering lights, and theres a picture at the bottom showing what they look like and we have four of these above our stage), and also your basic stationary color lights) and with those I try to bring out the best color scheme i can with the clothing of those on the stage, the screen colors and the positioning of them in relationship to my lights. And through the services I've learned alot about how to run a service, what the flow should look like and many many other various technical things with like video inputs and mixing those with computer sounds, and running it through the sound board and what not. In my opinion beside the religious aspect their pretty similar, and mind that I go to a very lively church with flashing lights and loud music, but the whole seating people with loud music, introductions, people talking, lights going on and off, and people using microphones. Both found in assemblies and atleast at my church the services. Then I have a fair amount of editing experience from class and also on my own time. They may not be production level or even close to pleasing some of you like eheath, or willstart (i dont say that as a put down but rather i've seen the videos you've made and the info you've given others and you guys know your stuff!), but compared to the videos my school has made the three years i've been there i feel mine are equal to or better (terrible terrible production by people who only know how to line a clip up to another and put music with it, no lighting techniques or angles or anything). There's my whole speil.
Now onto the video, i'd like to find a way to capture what i can bring to the table. And for those of you who didn't read the first paragraph (completely understandable), i'll list what i feel i can do: digital/analog sound board, stage lighting, assembly/service flow, and video. does anyone here have ideas as to what i could do to really show what i can do.
One of my thoughts was to make a video like the the pitch guys, "do you need a tech commisioner well i've got the answer for you". And just show different bits of me doing those things.

and the camera they've used the past three years i've been there:
sparknotes:
1st paragraph: my skills and what i think i can do(in depth) not neccasary to read but if you want to get all the technical parts
2nd in need of ideas to capture video to best represent my skills (found in this paragraph as list form)
