So here the deal, yesterday i went to my local shop to buy some boots. I wanted some dalbello krypton pro in 26.5, and guess what, they were sold out. So i tried the lange, and they fit perfect, 97mm last. So i would like too know whats you think about thses. I was riding spk kaos last year, and eww i dont like them. Too big (102mm), 110 flex ? No way they are like 80. Tgey packed out after 2 weeks. So i want a stiff boot, 98mm max. I ski 30% park, 30% groomers and 40% glades/powder/and steep stuff. You can suggest me other boots, but they gave too berace background compagny. I dont have deal whit fulltilt, and i hate them.

Well obviously the SPK and the Lange will be very differnt. The SPK are actually 104mm ao you are going down 7mm. Also the fowad lean is much greater on the lange, so it will feel quite differnt at first. You say you found the SPK soft which means it was proberbly a bit big round your leg and also did not have as much foward lean as you required. So long as you want to be further foward you should be ok. It will give you a more agrresive feel, let you drive the edges harder and genrally ski harder. In the park you will lose some pop as you will not be able to straighten your leg as much which will cut down the pop you get from your legs. It will also be slighter worse if you land backseat as the spoiler will really push into the calf. Its these reasons "freestyle boots" are genrally more upright then all mountain boots.
The main thing you will notice is the lack of rubber toe box, so make sure you get some nice custom footbeds to stop your foot extending under weighting. Your toes will thank you for it. but so long as the fitter was sure that a 97mm boot will be good for you then go for it. Its what he is recomending for your foot and that is going to be far better then the advice anyone here can give you as we cant see your feet.

i skied in the rs 130 wides all season, they're basically the same as the rx 130 pro except they have a wider last since i have wide feet and the liners and footboards are slightly different. i loved them, they're super stiff and don't lose stiffness at all and they have a nice high cuff and keep your ankle locked in extremely well. i used to wear krypton pros and i like these way better, mainly because they fit my feet better but i also find they flex better, it's not so centralized towards the tongue but more of a leg wrap. the only knock would be if your feet get cold easily. for some reason the toe box in these boots doesn't hold any warmth. i didn't have an issue with it but if you're skiing in cold weather and you have dainty little piggies they're gonna get a tits bit nipply
