12 Bacon or Influence 105?

So Im looking to trade in my favorite all mtn go to ski ever (prophet 100) for something with rocker. I really like the idea of the bacon but im a bigger guy and i rip hard.. I am concerned that they will be really flexy at high speeds on edge and in crud at highspeeds but i kindof want something more playful. that is sick in pow. if i buy the influence am i spending 700 bucks for rocker or is there a huge difference. if so what is it? btw im 6'1 265lbs i currently ride prophet 100 180 arg 185

If you are that worried about softness go with the influence with the metal matrix. I rode the Bacons last winter and was impressed but they are totally new monsters compared to previous models. You can rail the piss out of them as the new EP line has more sidecut and have been stiffened up. But the Bacon is a lot softer than an influence. I tell people the influence is like where the Mothership left off, with a bit more newer tech . The rocker isn't that excessive but thats not saying much as Line has gone backwards in time with the rocker profiling on all models. I enjoyed the Bacon as always but found i didn't need a ski that responsive so I kept my previous generation bacons and EP pros for this year.
