Leave it the same length. Even if it is too long you can always adjust your setup so that you don't have to slide the entire thing. Remember, its always better to be a little too big that too small.
one of my boarder friends just made his 25 foot pvc rail. it starts at 2 feet tall and ends at a foot and 1/2 tall so its a tiny bit down to help carry a little bit of extra speed and i guess it worked pretty well
depends, if your just learning, this is a perfect length. if you are experienced, a shorter rail will likely make you improve your tricks on snow since you will have less time to react, therefore improving your muscle memory
i think the best is to have 2 rails. I have 2 rails each 12 feet and we just set them up differently everythime. We can make a down flat, an up down, 24 foot flat, just up rail, just down rail, c-rail and so on. more variety with 2 rails imo
I'd say 13-17 is perfect. I have a 10' double barrel pvc and its long enough for quick swaps and the occasional k fed, but nowhere near big enough for someone like me to do a pretzel.
