Just saw this movie last night. All i can say is that I dont care that it doesnt make any sense, or that the survivors should have frozen to death, or whatever...This movie KICKS ASS. Its a total cross between Alien and Predator 2, in fact its an exact cross between the 2. EVEN the main character is a cross between the Danny Glover and Sigourney Weaver. But its still a kick-ass movie, and i wanna watch it again. I almost applauded during a few scenes it was SO awesome!

I haven't seen it yet...but why the hell did they make it PG-13? Both the Alien and Predator series were rated R so why didnt they follow through with this one? I'll bet it could've been a lot more bad ass if they hadn't sold out on that part. I mean come on.

It was pretty bad ass, but the ending was absolutely awful. It was the exact same thing as Freddy vs Jason.

i thought it fucking sucked! i saw it last night wasted and it still wasn't cool...maybe its because on my third trip to the bathroom zach and i walked in on a guy jacking off, but thats besides the point. no respect to the originals YUK.

I definitely want to see it. Predator 1 was great, nothing beats Arnold and The Body with a chaingun. But I hope its not like Freddy vs. Jason, that movie sucked.

But the different between Freddy Vs Jason and Alien Vs Predator is that AVP is based on the videogame/comic book... it's not just two random movies put together like Freddy vs jason.

Listening to some of the gripes about this movie, i should give them a response.
Nobody watches a James Bond movie for its character development. My ex did, and shes fucking retarded, and this is why she did not enjoy it.
AVP was supposed to be a)Cheesy and b)Only for people caring enough to watch the battle scenes. Now if you dont understand this, then you have no business spending 10$ on a movie ticket.
For what it is supposed to be, its awesome. Now for you mentally handicapped, its NOT supposed to be Citizen Kane.

actually the fact that they combined the two isn't compltely random, as they tie it in the aliens later movies and same with freddy vs. jason, they tie freddy in in like jason 9 or something. But all the jason movies really suck, so it's all good.

AVP=Action.
Only 2 of the 7 movies out right now are horrors, so why is this even an issue?

taht movie sucked. It was boring as hell first of all. It wasnt even good action scenes, it was fuckign stupid, the predator looked stupid, the alien looked stupid, everyone was stupid and looked stupid. Everythign sucked. It was just a bunch of leaps and claws and yipee ya ayey. EVen the battle scenes bored me to death. I Hate it. WEEEEEEEEEEEE
