Some hard falls on my shoulder. That's about it.
I'm curious why a lot of you build rails and boxes so high off the ground. In my experience it's easier to learn swaps, pretzels, and 2's on with low rails. It's also less painful when you fuck up.
Taller = bigger spins off the rail, and they are more similar to what you would see in a park, but shitty for learning imo.
In the middle of july I did a 270 out of my six inch high tiny rail and stuck in the grass, tipped back and fell on my but not very hard. My back started hurting worse and worse over the next month and a half and got to the point that I had to sit down to put pants on. I went to the physical therapist and now I have to go in twice a week and have ten or fifteen minutes worth of stretches to do twice a day as well as not being able to bmx jump on the tramp or even run. All from a little tiny rail.
