I was in Germany during that world cup. I remember shitting my pants when he chipped that pk and it nicked the crossbar and crossed the line. I mean the balls it would take to try and chip a pk at that point in the game is crazy.

10/10 my god do i miss those avs so much, i was probably just as excited as them when they won the cup. i remember when i was like 9 going to watch them play in toronto, and got to go down by the dressing rooms, made a sign and everything, saw roy walk around the corner my jaw just dropped as i followed every movement he made.

If forcing animals (who I assume would be considered the athletes here) to run by whipping them is a sport, then I suppose you think dog fighting is a sport too. Don't even try to argue that the jockeys are athletes. Nothing about riding on top of a horse like a little fairy in flambuoyent clothing while whipping the shit out of the horse is athletic.

Gretzky, Ali, Jordan. Those are the only undisputed greatest athletes in their sports and MJ had the sickest "final shot" ever. This is how everyone wants to go out.

These are moments that stick out in my mind.

I still remember watching this on TV. I get chills every time I watch it. 2:33 for the catch, and 2:54 for the home run, both in game 6 of the 91 world series.

My most exiting moment for me has to be Sven Hannawald winning the Four Hills Championship in ski jumping.He is the only one ever to win at every hill and he jumped ridiculously far.
He was so stoked on every jump.

Too bad the press tore him apart:

Hahahahaha so true.  Best part was that Revis was talking mad shit before the game saying Randy is overrated and he was going to shut him down...  LOL...  That was one of the greatest catches just for the ORLY factor involved imo.

i played golf in high school, and i'm at a golf course 5 days a week. although it may be hard, i wouldn't consider it a sport. acing a calculus test is pretty hard too, although i wouldn't consider it a sport.

ya im on the PGA tour.. see how easy it is to say that! I am actually on the golf course 5 days a week and I would consider it a sport.

Anyways to more sports that arent really sports...

that's cool. the problem is, i know you're lying, and i'm not. i'm actually "working" at the course now.

that's true, racing cars is not a sport. i don't care how many g forces they are pulling sitting on their ass or how much they are sweating. is sitting in a sauna a sport? is riding a roller coaster a sport?

i'd call cheerleading a sport before golf, stock car racing, horse racing, darts, billiards, jerking off, etc.

Actually im not lying, you work at a course that sucks. Have fun cleaning my clubs later. Unfortunately I cant call my self a scratch player, my handicap just wont go below 1.8 right now.

i don't clean clubs. i drive golf carts, i suppose that's a sport too though, so i guess you can say i'm a professional golf cart driver. yes, the course sucks. i don't care about your handicap. i'd consider myself a golfer, although i (along with many others) still would not consider golf a sport.

This kid is clearly the coolest guy on earth because of his amazing talent both on skis and the links. He has an incredible future in both and will probably be able to retire within the next couple of months because of his earnings. Despite what anyone claims, they are lying. It is physically impossible to be better than him at such sports.
