Car subwoofers

So I'm 16 and my parents are getting me a 2005 jeep grand cherokee. I want to put woofers in the back but basically I know nothing about them.. I'm to buy them online with an amp and wiring and then get someone to set it up for me. Heres what I'm looking for...

Dual Subs

at least 12"

~ $200-$400

that jeep bumps dude...i used to drive the same one. There is no way you can listen to music beyond the level that jeep is capable of. Save your money bro...you will regret that in a couple of years

your parents are buying you a chill ass jeep for you and your bros to cruise and pick of bittys with so of course you will need some phat bass to rumble around town like a true cholo

after your sound system is 2 legit 2 kwit you gotta get some twennyfo's, a spray tan and a visor to wear upside down and sideways

You really don't need two 12 inch subs in any car. A single, smaller sub will still make your music sound great without being super excessive. I would say save some money and upgrade your speakers instead if they're not so great.

Go buy some on craigslist and save your $$$, thats how I do it, I mean gas itself is gonna be bitchen, used amps and stubs are sooo cheap, be ghetto dawg. Just see wat you can get for $50, youll be supprised

not a fan of mtx, sony, bose, or any of those other companies that make stuff at a price too good to be true. i have a 12 inch kenwood excelon and it took 450+ to get everything done well. your not going to get 2 12s for 200-400 and make them last, plus they will be muddy and drown out your stock speakers

Get one 12. My friend had one 12 and it made songs sound really good, then he upgraded to two 12s and now he just looks like a douche in parking lots or at intersections. It's fun with your buds but it gets old. Save your money. Plus, I've observed that bitches find subs to be annoying, so enjoy the bro fest.

dont waist your money on a 250$ sub its not worth it. try staying away from brands like mtx and sony. if you really want a quality sub go with either rockford fosgat, kicker, alpine, or kenwood.

I just got my subs hooked up a couple months ago.  2 12" Sony Xplods.  Sounds pretty sick. Got matching Xplod deck and amp.

I was gifted the amp and subs though,  and it still cost me $300 once it was all done.
Hope you know what you are getting into before you get started.

Deck costs $100+
Wiring all in will be about $75
Harness, Antenna Adapter, Deck fitting kit,
and installation if you get someone else to do it.
Plus however much you pay for your amp and subs, could be another 400.
