Gearfest/October Rail Jam?

What's up everyone? Quick background: This is Matt McGinnis from The An& Brand, an in-house clothing brand that is about to move from Burlington, VT to Salt Lake City, UT.
On our trip, we're scheduled to make a stop in Dayton, OH for Gearfest. I was looking over the site for the event and it seems like it's pretty big. There's a rail jam on Saturday that we're also going to be set up at, and I was wondering if anyone's been to this in past years, or is planning on going this year?
The rail jam aspect is put on by Mad River Mountain and Capital Parks, and looks pretty sick. The Gearfest page makes it seem like it's only snowboarding though? Does anyone know if this is the case? Either way, we're planning on being there, but it'd be dope if it was a skiing event too.
Anyways, if anyone's got any info I'd be stoked to hear it, and I look forward to meeting some of you guys out there!

i ski at madriver mountain all the time and theyre rail jams are always super fun. us skiers may be outnumbered at times but there will definitely be skiers there

Yup I've been there the last couple years and it's always super super fun. Not a big set up but usually at least 2 or 3 rails to hit. It'll be great vibes though and fun chill skiing in october. Can't beat it, especially if you are passing by anyway.

im new to ohio, going here for college, and was thinking about skiing at Mad River(its about an hour away from my school) and want to go to the rail jam too but i was wondering the same thing, if there will be a lot of skiers there?

Sounding like this is going to be a pretty fun event then! It's always sick to meet people at pre season jams like this one. Everyone is just so stoked to be riding. Anyways, see you guys in under a week!

there will be some skiers for sure. snowboarders will outnumber us but it will be a sick event for sure. where are u going to school? if ur at osu u should check out osu ski team, we go to these kind of events all the time. im the social chairman if u wanna PM me

Woah that's lookin real sick! I can only imagine what the setup rail jam at capital park later on in the fall will look like. We should have some prizes for that competition too!

Just drove by Eastwood Metro Park to check out the set up. The rails and drop in are in place are in place and the kids tubing run is pretty big. Semis are bringing the ice/snow Saturday AM?

Talked to Brian tonight, he's getting a ton (literally) of snow straight from an ice company. He said he may try to re-arrange the setup later on in the day so everyone should come check it out for sure. Our tent will be at the bottom of the setup, make sure to stop by!
