Tried boots on today and in need of some help.

So i went to the US Outdoor shop in portland today and tried on some boots. It was very eye opening all the different fits there are. but one thing i noticed is when i tried on the full tilt konflict is the lack of frontal shink support. My old boots are salomon don't know the kind, really cheap though. and when i tried on the spk's they had that support on them. My current boots are the third ones i've had and i've never noticed anything like this with any of the others. I noticed the full tilts are much shorter than like salomons.

So my main big question is does this lack of heigth and support bother anyone or has anyone had the same experience as me? And do you know if it will affect my skiing and performance if i purchase boots with a lower shin?

Right....yeah I realize it's a different size shell which is why I went with the 28.....I tried on the 27 and the 27.5....thought maybe I could get away with the 27.5 liner but it was def the smaller shell that was the issue and not the tighter liner....when all is said and done I typically wear an 11.5 sneaker so in the 28 I'm like a size and a half down....I really wanted to go two full sizes but the fitter advised against having my toes crumpled like that....but damn dude you guys have me totally second guessing now and thinking I shoulda pushed to jus get the toe blown out.

Speaking of cuff height, are there any other boots that have a cuff as high as dalbello's? I skied in my friends SPK's one day and thought my leg was going to snap in half because the cuffs are so low. Just a curious question.

I was saying that you are most likely in the correct size, but doing a shell fit is the only real way to be sure...

Well thanks again nerdykid....ya had me buggin for a sec there....haha....I'm so frazzled about boots now after my solly episode that I really wanna be sure you know?
