Hey fellow NS'rs! I like a girl, and I think she likes me. But we have an amazing friendship and I don't want to ruin it if I ask her out. Any ideas on what to do?

1st off, i think we are dealing with a lesbian relationship since only girls are concerned with destroying "great friendships".

2nd, i dont think you would have that "great friendship" if you two werent crushing for each other.


3rd, youre 14-17 so just go for it, do all the "youre the love of my life"-statuses on facebook with heart-comments from each of you all over the place and break up a month earlier and shoot yourself because you wont find anyone like her.




seriously, man up and ask her. i experienced that when you are ready to tell a woman (without being drunk) that you love her, chances are its because you are ready for it and vice versa.

If you are really worried about your friendship just kinda hint at dating without actually asking her to get a feel for her feelings. If she seems for it then go for it, if not then everything will be fine and not awkward

i'm in 8th grade and if i lost her as a friend I would be devastated. i haven't stopped thinking about her for like 4 months because we ski together but don't live near.

i was in the same situation bro. but just date for A WHILE! and i mean that. like movies here dinner there. be friends with her friends (if they're cool). make sure her parents like you (girls like it when parents approve of boys) anyways. date for like a few months and see where it goes. dont expect much quick but a kiss here kiss there. taking it slow. be nice. always pay.

it took me 8 months to be able to be "in a relationship" with her and be able to hold her hand at school and get a kiss whenever i want. a makeout sesh here and there. what ever. things are working out slowly and she says that im the guy she wants to be with. i want to be with her. she tells her friends about me. she has status's about me. other boys want her. she doesnt txt back. it has a good chance of working. people always say they're happiest in a relationship when they're girlfriend or boyfriend is they're best friend

point is girls have a hard time with transitions. atleast mine did. just be patient. be nice and it will work out.
good luck bud! oh and if your like 13 or 14 it might not work. im 17 going on 18 shes almost 18 too and we've been friends for like 7 years so we know how each other works. ti makes things easier.

Seriously, go ask for a Ladies Men cult invite, you'll get serious answers.

I was talking to a friend who was in the girls position last night. She said it was a good hook up and all, but this kid was super close friends with her and he spilled his guts about how he's always liked her. Now their friendship is super awkward because she didn't feel the same way. It's a tough call.

I wouldn't come on too strong, maybe invite her to do some things with you as a friend that only a couple would normally do, like be your homecoming date or something. A few drinks at a party could possibly loosen up the situation and let the truth come out from both of you a little easier, but don't treat it like you're drunk and just looking for a hook up. Hit up LM, you'll get lots of other peoples perspectives.

ah. Girls like it when there parents approve. Funny shit. Here's the trick. Girls like nice guys, girls hook up with assholes. If you think and act like the you are the shit, she will think and act like you are the shit. That being said this will not get you slot of relationships but were highs hollers so who gives a fuck. Remember, assholes get fucked, nice guys get the crying girl after the asshole dumps her. It fucking works. (disclaimer: this only works really if you are a decent looking kid, it is shit advice from a relationship standpoint and I will get hate for this).

Being an asshole is the best thing you can ever do for your self. It's fairly easy to do, for one, never start the conversation at first. Ignore her completely and act interested in her friend. Now she wants to impress you and is seeking your approval. It's over from here. You can now act slightly interested but not much. You may noe proceed to hook up.

i was in 8th grade last year, so its still semi fresh in my mind. just be really good friends with her, relationships at that age dont work well. just because your friends doesnt mean you cant do relationship type stuff. just be chill with her and plow her next year.
