Crazy Fool

I just started working Valet last week. Guy pays me under the table 10 bucks a hour and keeps all tips I get. I have yet to meet him still and every time we are supposed to meet to be paid he manages to skip out.

I have worked a total of 8.5 hours so far so he owes me 85 dollars. He does a week delay on the pay and meets Sunday to pay everyone. So I was supposed to be paid yesterday for last Fridays work of 2.5 hours, $25. For some reason he didn't show up today and sent the guy I worked with last night instead. The guy who came gave me $16, shorted $9.

I was actually planning on quitting today and collecting all of the money I am owed. This guy runs this so poorly and sketchy. He never answers you but when he needs you its "where are you" "???" every other second.

After being shorted I called him about 34 times and texted him around 10. No response, and this was about an hour ago. I am owed $69 total and so far there is no hope to getting it.

What should I do here? His business is illegal, he doesn't pay employees the right amount and hes a fucking asshole.

oh and you are retarded for working that job for $10 an hour. my buddy makes about $200 in 4 hours just in tips on friday or saturday nights.

thought about it. Or just parking them randomly around everywhere. like miles away, and then just leaving.

But on a side note I know the father of one of the owners of the restaurant I valet for. I am thinking about going to him and contacting his son about how fucked up the valet service he is running is.

since he's paying you under the table, doesn't that mean he doesn't owe you anything as far as documentation goes? He could say he gave it to you or anything else dumb like that can't he?

How exactly does he keep all the tips YOU are given? A tip is an appreciation for outstanding personal service, not the service of the business or company. You rightly earned that money, it was given to you, it goes into your pocket. Does he literally ask you how much you made in tips, then you give it all to him? Something seems very wrong here. The guy is a douchebag. Explain the situation to the manager. Don't do anything stupid to cars - the patrons have no horse in this race.

I fucking hate it when people take your tips. i worked at a pizza place and i would show up at 3 and work till 8 and we would get like up to 50 bucks in the jar every night. The owner who was a stingy bitch would work all day which was like 3 hours before i got to work. There would be maybe 5 bucks in the jar when i got there and all he did was make pizza i dealt with customers and he would pocket like 30 i would get like 15 even though i was the one who earned the tips but i could confront him because he was the owner so he had the right. On my last night i pocketed like 15 before we counted it because he was a bitch and i got my third of what was left. LONG STORY SHORT KILL ANYONE WHO TAKES YOUR TIPS.
